“Good, delicious, hot”

University Hospital Mannheim takes new paths in taking care of its patients.

Producing meals is no problem for professional kitchens. However the situation is quite different when it comes to transporting those meals in the desired high quality and necessary temperature to the patients. And the problem is even more difficult when the wards to be supplied are spread across a vast surface area. Since February, the University Hospital Mannheim has ventured onto new paths: Hofmann Menu continues to supply the midday meals in accordance with recipes from the clinic, pre-portioned and deep-frozen. They are then regenerated immediately before serving at the wards by means of induction.

Well-conceived. Economical. Inexpensive.
